QA Engineer

We’re looking for a QA Engineer to help build and refine the mobile apps powering our wellbeing and performance platform. Fast iteration, direct communication, zero bureaucracy — if you care about health, longevity, and pushing human limits, you’ll fit right in.

You’ll test, validate, and ensure the quality of the mobile applications that drive Agen’s wellbeing platform — fast, scalable, AI-powered. Your work will shape how people track their health, receive intelligent recommendations, and improve daily performance.

We want someone who is passionate about quality, understands mobile deeply, ships fast, and has personal motivation in health, sports, medicine, or human performance.

• Test our wellbeing mobile apps on iOS and Android to ensure stable, high-quality, user-friendly experiences.
  
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for new and existing features.
  
• Perform manual testing across functional, regression, exploratory, UI/UX, smoke, and end-to-end flows.
  
• Build and maintain automated test suites for mobile apps using industry-standard tools.
  
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to clarify requirements and ensure features are delivered with quality.
  
• Validate REST API behavior, data integrity, and backend integrations.
  
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear, reproducible steps.
  
• Test device compatibility across different OS versions, screen sizes, and hardware types.
  
• Participate in release readiness to ensure builds meet quality standards before shipping.
  
• Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing efficiency.

Must have:

• Experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications.
  
• Strong ability to write clear, structured test cases, test plans, and QA documentation.
  
• Experience performing a wide range of manual tests (functional, regression, UI, usability, smoke, exploratory).
  
• Experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
  
• Familiarity with mobile testing tools (Xcode, Android Studio, simulators, emulators, real devices).
  
• Understanding of automation frameworks for mobile (Appium, Espresso, XCTest, Detox, etc.).
  
• Knowledge of version control and CI/CD basics (Git, GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
  
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to identify edge cases.
  
• Ability to communicate clearly with developers and product teams.
  
• A passion for delivering polished, stable, user-centered mobile experiences—especially in wellbeing or health.
  

Good to have:

• Experience testing wellbeing, health, fitness, or mindfulness apps.
  
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Appium, XCTest, Espresso, or Compose Test.
  
• Familiarity with analytics validation, push notifications, deep link flows, and app lifecycle edge cases.
  
• Experience with performance testing and device profiling.
  
• Understanding of accessibility testing for mobile apps.
