Frequently asked questions
Is there a subscription?
No. The Agen Smart Scale is a one-time purchase — every metric, every profile and the app are included.
How accurate is it?
Weight is read in 50 g steps. Body composition uses BIA through eight electrodes — measure barefoot at a consistent time of day, and read the trend rather than any single number.
Why the handle bar?
Foot-only scales send their signal through your legs and estimate the rest. The handle bar's extra electrodes complete the circuit through your upper body, so arms, legs and trunk are each read separately.
How many people can use it?
The Agen app holds up to 2,000 profiles. Pick yours in the app, step on, and the reading lands in your own history.
Who shouldn't use body-composition mode?
BIA passes an imperceptible electrical signal through the body. Skip body-composition mode if you have a pacemaker or other implanted device, or are pregnant — weight-only mode works for everyone.
What powers it?
Four AAA batteries — about four months of daily weigh-ins — with step-on power and auto power-off.
When will it ship?
Agen Smart Scale is in its launch run. Orders ship within 8 weeks of purchase, with tracked delivery.
What is the launch price?
$149 for the first 400 orders. After that, Agen Smart Scale is $199.
