No. The Agen Smart Scale is a one-time purchase — every metric, every profile and the app are included.
How accurate is it?
Weight is read in 50 g steps. Body composition uses dual-frequency BIA through eight electrodes — measure barefoot at a consistent time of day, and read the trend rather than any single number.
Why the handle bar?
Foot-only scales send their signal through your legs and estimate the rest. The handle bar's extra electrodes complete the circuit through your upper body, so arms, legs and trunk are each read separately.
How many people can use it?
Unlimited profiles. Each reading syncs to the Agen app, where every member of the house keeps their own account and history.
Who shouldn't use body-composition mode?
BIA passes an imperceptible electrical signal through the body. Skip body-composition mode if you have a pacemaker or other implanted device, or are pregnant — weight-only mode works for everyone.
What powers it?
